Watch guarantee

Is there a guarantee on your watches?

Yes indeed. All Camden Watch Company watches are guaranteed against defects of material and manufacture for the period of twelve months for the quartz collection and twenty-four months for the automatic collection, valid from the date of purchase under the terms and conditions of this guarantee.

The guarantee covers manufacturing faults on the watch case, the movement and the strap.

During the guarantee period and by presenting the valid guarantee certificate (your order confirmation or receipt that shows date of purchase), you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. In the event that repairs are improper to restore the normal conditions of use of your watch, then The Camden Watch Company guarantees its replacement. The guarantee for the replacement watch ends twelve months (twenty-four months for automatics) after the date of purchase of the replaced watch.

This guarantee does not cover:

- the life of the battery;

- normal wear and tear and ageing (e.g. scratched crystal; alteration of the colour of the straps);

- any damage on any part of the watch resulting from carelessness, abnormal/abusive use, negligence, accidents (knocks, dents, crushing, broken crystal, etc.);

- if the watch was repaired or serviced by non-authorized persons (e.g. for battery or strap replacement), this includes if you open the watch yourself to change the battery;

This guarantee does not affect the purchaser’s rights against the seller nor any other mandatory statutory rights the purchaser may have.
